Design work for a first floor renovation and addition project to a house in the heritage conservation area of Summer Hill, inner West, Sydney is underway. The heritage facade and front three rooms will be retained. The back area will be demolished and replaced with an open plan kitchen, living/dining room, bathroom and laundry. The backyard will be enhanced with an entertainment area and double garage. The first floor addition will encompass a main bedroom, ensuite, built- in wardrobe and balcony.
