Design and Build a Luxury Terrace Renovation in Glebe, Inner West, Sydney Completed

Domus Homes recently completed this luxury terrace renovation in Glebe, Inner West, Sydney.

Because this terrace is in a Heritage Conservation Area, development approval was required through Sydney City Council. Domus Homes has delivered many such approvals through Sydney City Council and in many other Council areas.

Increasingly, Domus Homes is completing CDC’s (Complying Development Certificates) in suburbs all over Sydney which bypass Council. This is a much quicker and cheaper approval option.

Our concept to completion service included custom design, interior design and project management delivery, incorporating sketch plans; DA plans; Sydney City Council approval; construction documentation; construction tender; construction certification; contract administration and occupation certification. All external consultants and the builder were managed by Domus Homes.

The luxury terrace renovation comprised enlarged windows and doors, an external timber terrace, new kitchen, new laundry, new walling and skylight, new engineered timber flooring throughout, new lighting, new bathroom, painting and patching. Specialist lighting was installed throughout as well as extensive luxury joinery installations.

Multiple maintenance items were also carried out such as guttering repairs, stormwater repairs, concrete entry area and façade upgrading; and fencing repairs.
