Domus Homes recently completed luxury house and pool renovations plus extensive hard and soft landscaping to a substantial home in Vaucluse, Eastern Suburbs, Sydney.

Domus Homes redesigned the pool and garden, transforming it into an open, tranquil and inviting oasis, featuring extensive use of sandstone echoing the existing materials.

Works included renovation of the swimming pool, adding a cabana and associated water feature, decking and timber feature wall. Internally, Domus Homes added a new shower bathroom for access from the pool at the garden level of the house, a new wine cellar, renovated bathroom, new internal stairs, extensive sandstone paths and wall features and multiple improvements.

The wine cellar was transformed into a functional, yet inviting, cool room using sandstone from the site.

New engineered timber floors were installed on the living levels of the house and carpets were laid in the upstairs bedroom level.

The lighting was redesigned and installed to match the luxury ambiance of the house with other architectural elements incorporated to lift the renovation to a luxury level. New cabinetry was installed to upgrade the laundry and pantry areas. The house was repainted in its entirety.

The double garage was enclosed for security.

Domus Homes carried out all of the custom design, interior design, landscaping design and project management from concept to completion. Council approval was not required for this project.
